Fall Doyle Reservation Engagement Shoot: Kevin and Jaimie Love and Lace Photography

One works for a non profit, the other at a nursing and rehabilitation center....2 peas in a pod, natural givers. These 2 are the type of people who can get along with anyone and share a laugh. They told me that when Kevin proposed (in Disney!) they were both wearing Mickey and Minnie ears, if that doesn't describe what type of fun loving couple they are I don't know what does!

Romantic Naples Florida Wedding Photography, Love and Lace Photography

Please excuse my absence from this blog as there are no good reasons as to why I have been MIA, I can say that I am so looking forward to making this a priority from now on!

So where do I begin..... There have been weddings, senior portraits, engagement shoots and families all over the past few months that I had the pleasure of documenting.
Lets start with my favorite wedding, Shane and Loni!
This couple was married on a warm day on the warm sand as the sun was going down. The sky was pink and there were tears in their eyes as they said their I do's in front of the brides parents and sister as well as a few beach goers. I was so incredibly lucky to be there with them and document this moment for the rest of their family and friends to see.
Shane and Loni were planning on a big family barn wedding but decided to elope instead and truly make this occasion about them and their love. Not a easy decision to make but one that is made with such heavy emotion (good and bad) Their type of love is inspiring and this wedding is one I will never forget!
I will be writing a blog post about eloping and small weddings and I am hoping to have Loni give me a few tidbits of information to help out any other brides that may be interested in doing the same thing!

Sweet Love!

When you know someone for as long as I have known these 2, you think there's nothing they can hide I know who they are together and individually and we should get some great images! But.... But.... OH BUT! You never really I mean truly know who they are as a couple until its just them and you in a quiet field and you have them take a moment for themselves, that is when they show you who they are at the core as a couple.... Something you've never seen from them before, something beautifully captivating. This my friends is my job to document, and I cant tell you how privileged I am to be a part of that.

Prom Time!

Yesterday I had so much fun getting to take some prom portraits of Bancroft High's Senior Class!! 

They were so much fun, and EVERY single one of them were extremely photogenic! Not only did I get to spend a hour with them taking their pictures but I also had one of my best friends Loni assist me on the shoot, she was FAB! (Thanks Loni!!!) 

So Bancroft High is an amazing private school in Worcester, its very small (52 seniors) and I got to photograph all of them on their big day!

Let's Begin!

Hi everyone, to those who know me closely you know that writing my first blog post is a big deal for me! I have a lot planned for Love & Lace and this is just the beginning! 

To those that don't know me personally who am I you ask?

Well let me start by saying I do this because I couldn't imagine doing anything else, and as much as it's important for me to get to know you, I feel it's just as important for you to get to know me.

So here goes

- I have a amazing, beautiful, hyper 2 year old, that when looking at my pictures of brides says they look like princesses! 

- I'm married to a hardworking man that sold his drum set to buy me my first professional camera. 

- I prefer fall over any other season for nothing more then the smell of the leaves, the warm sweater on my back and the pumpkin coffee in my hands. 

- I love love did i say LOVE weddings, everything about them (my husband says I'm obsessed) 

- I received a certificate in graphic design, as well as a degree in the fine arts before I finally decided to attend Hallmark Institute of Photography for my certificate in photography. 

Photography is so important to me, its important to you..its your family's history! I'm so happy to be able to work with people and provide that!

So lets make history together!

The most important part to my business is the experience I give to the client. You are NOT just another person/couple, you and your day are important! 

I know that when you make a decision to hire a photographer, its not taken lightly. Its an event, something special that you want to have documented. If its your wedding day or anniversary, your senior portraits or your newborn baby whatever the occasion its special, I make sure to treat it that way. I believe that its not only the day I take the pictures but its also the months leading up to it and the months/years after! You are not just a number, you are a friend and I plan to give you a experience as well as a DANG good picture!
